About Us — The Rosenburgs: A Family of Flowers
Welcome to The Rosenburgs, the story of a flower family who live, laugh, and grow together in a real greenhouse — and the place where nature, imagination, and learning bloom for kids and families.
Our Story
The Rosenburgs began with a simple idea from the creator at Black Tech: what if a family of flowers had to navigate everyday life from the view of their own world — a real greenhouse managed by a little girl and her father?
That idea grew out of a lifelong love of cartoons, nature, plants, and flowers. With a creative imagination, a sketchbook, and a lot of curiosity about how plants actually work, the creator built a family: Mr. Jon Rosenburg, the steady head of the household; Mrs. Tulip Rosenburg, who runs Sunlight Heaven Salon; and their three seedlings — Daisy, Violet, and Little Johnny — each with a personality as distinct as the flower they’re named after. Around them grew a whole neighborhood of friends, rivals, and teachers: Cam Chamomile, Sunny Summerville, Ms. Gardena Narcissus, Coach Poppy, the Daffodil Twins, and many more.
Every story is set against a genuinely educational backdrop. Just as the characters live their lives inside a working greenhouse, our episodes, games, and articles weave in real knowledge: how to identify flowers, what their scientific names mean, how plants grow and stay healthy, and the science behind the colors of petals.
Our Mission
We bring imagination and nature together for children. Our mission is simple: help kids meet characters they love while learning something real about the natural world.
- Stories they’ll remember. The Rosenburg family and their friends face the same kinds of adventures, disagreements, and growing-up moments that all families do — told with humor and heart.
- Learning that sticks. Every episode and game teaches something genuine: flower names, plant families, gardening basics, and scientific terms explained in an age-appropriate way.
- Screen time with a purpose. Our games turn play into learning. In the Flower Match game, players pair flower pictures with their scientific names. The Flip Cards game builds memory and concentration. The Crossword game connects familiar flower names to the plant families they belong to. And in Bloom Garden, kids join the fun of caring for a garden of their own.

Behind the Scenes
The Rosenburgs is a production of Black Tech, an independent studio started by a creator who loves cartoons, nature, and the simple joy of watching a seed become a flower. The stories, characters, games, and art are original creations, brought to life one episode, one page, and one petal at a time. The blog is written by Mr.Rosen, who shares the family’s adventures along with practical flower facts and learning tips for parents and teachers.
