Daisy, the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Rosenburg is very much the star of the show.  She has a typical teenage life and tries to manage little brother Johnny and little sister Violet as best she can….

The flower head has three or four rings of spoon shaped petals which often turn pink at the ends as they get older. Each ring has 15 to 30 petals.

Daisy is an interesting version of the Bellis-Perenni flowing family.

*A daisy doesn’t have a fixed number of petals; common types like the Ox-eye or English Daisy often have 15 to 30 white ray petals (florets), but the total can range from a few to many, even 50 or more in some varieties, as each “petal” is actually a small, individual flower, with the yellow center made of hundreds of tiny disc flowers.
Key Points:
    • It’s a Composite Flower:
What looks like one big flower is actually a cluster of many tiny flowers (florets).
    • Ray Florets (Petals):
The long white “petals” are individual ray florets, usually numbering 15 to 30, but can vary.
  • Disc Florets (Center):
The yellow center is packed with hundreds of tiny disc florets.
  • Variety Matters:
Different daisy species have different petal counts, with some having very few (like 5-8) and others having many more.
